Jeremiah 29:11-12
Jeremiah 29:11 is arguably one of the most popular verses out there.
What a beautiful truth: God carefully and lovingly sets our plans out before us! More than this, His plans are for our GOOD. They are designed to give us hope and a future.
Why, then, are we so set in our own ways? Why is it so hard for us to submit to the Lord and His plans?
Because we are sinners.
BUT, this is why we have verse 12. Jeremiah 29:11 is used all the time. It is a great reminder of the Lord’s sovereignty in our lives and His desire to give us plans and direction. It is verse 12 though that teaches us how to live according to them.
He longs for us to call upon Him so that we can live in the good plans He has set before us.
He WILL hear you & He WILL help you so that you may experience the future and the hope He freely gives.
So, this week (and always), seek first His plans and direction for your life. As you do this, call out to Him and pray fervently for the ability to live according to them. They are better than your own and He longs for you to experience them.
