Last week, we talked about casting our anxieties on the Lord because He cares for us. This week, we want to talk more about one of the beautiful ways that He cares.

In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus tells us, “Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls”.

Are you feeling weary and burdened today? If so, know that the Lord sees you and hears your pleas.

He doesn’t stop there though.

The Lord doesn’t just acknowledge our pain, but in His care for us, He gives us rest.

Trials can be exhausting both mentally and physically. BUT, when the world and its tribulations don’t offer us rest, God is His grace does!

So, our prayer for you this week (and always) is for you to see that as you continue to give your anxieties, burdens, and pains to the Lord, He will continue to give you rest and peace.

Let us together learn from the One who is gentle and lowly in heart so that we may experience this rest now and forever.
